As you may know, I am a huge Grateful Dead fan. Over the last few months I have accumulated a buttload of shows (around 250 to be exact), mainly from kind people at great sites like phishhook , the vine factory (poopoo on them), and let there be vines. Well, it's been quite a task to wade through these shows and find the true gems. Don't get me wrong, the Grateful Dead are one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. But, to quote David Crosby, they were either really great or they were playing pure dog poo. So, what's the point of all this rambling? I want to start my own reviews for some GD shows. Right now I am listening to some of the 1972 tour of Europe. There are some average shows, good shows, and absolutely mind shattering shows. And I want to chronicle that somehow. So, when I figure it out I will let you know. Peace out.
